Your Guide to the Texas Game Fair 2026

Your Guide to the Texas Game Fair 2026

In the gap between dove and the start of fall, the Texas sporting calendar quiets. The fields go warm. The dogs work less. The conversation moves from what's coming up to what's been put away properly. June, in Texas, is the year's exhale.

The Texas Game Fair lands in that exhale. June 12 and 13, Joshua Creek Ranch, Hill Country. It is the gathering for the people who keep the year going between seasons.

A fair built on the off-season

The Texas Game Fair runs in the middle of a long quiet. Dove opens in September. The fall arrives behind it. Until then, it is the months when the country looks after itself. Guns go in the cabinet for cleaning. Dogs work less ground. The conversation between bird hunters is mostly about a setter that's coming on, or a Lab that won't.

The fair is what holds the off-season together. It is the room where the quiet talk goes. People drive in from Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio. They stand at booths and tell each other what they shot last year and what they're hoping to shoot this year. The right people to spend an afternoon with.

Field Traditions, in Texas terms

Field Traditions started a long way from Joshua Creek Ranch. The reason any of it works in Texas is the same reason any of it works anywhere. The traditions are different, the country is different, the birds are different. The instincts are not. A bird hunter in the Hill Country is the same person as a bird hunter in Yorkshire when the dog is working and the gun comes up. The cartridge bag, the pewter glass, the canvas slip, the leather field bar in the corner of the camp. The pieces don't change.

What we make is not American or English. It is for the people who know what a long day in the field is worth, and who want the gear after it to last as long as the memory of it. That includes Texas.

What we're bringing

You'll find us with the Safari Field Furniture Collection, the field bars in all three finishes, the full pewter line, leather and canvas cartridge bags, and the after-the-hunt pieces that turn an afternoon into a properly long evening.

If you have been curious about the leather, the brass, the hand-finishing on the pewter, this is the weekend to handle them. If you've been on the fence about a field bar, come and stand next to one.

  • Dates: Friday 12 June and Saturday 13 June, 2026
  • Location: Joshua Creek Ranch, Boerne, Texas Hill Country

What to expect when you find us

A drink poured properly. A few of our team who have been waiting to talk to Texas in person. Some pieces from the next collection that have not been seen yet. A QR code that gets you into the Father's Day Giveaway. Honest conversation about gear that will last.

Bring the friend who would rather be outside.

See You At The Fair
